After consolidating our production in Cervera, Exel Fil took its first steps in the foreign market, beginning the export of steel wire to France, Portugal and Germany.

In 2006, Exel Fil began the production of annealed steel wire, driven by the incorporation of a state-of-the-art horizontal furnace.

That same year, the manufacture of Pick-Up wire also began, consolidating our position as an integral manufacturer of steel wire solutions.
In 2010, Exel Fil incorporated its first vertical furnace line, marking an important advance in efficiency, sustainability, and quality control.

In 2015, Exel Fil expanded its industrial infrastructure with the installation of a second vertical annealing furnace line, doubling the production capacity of annealed steel wire.

In 2018, Exel Fil inaugurated its own quality control laboratory, equipped to perform tensile, elongation, and hardness testing of steel.

In 2022, Exel Fil expanded its production capacity with the launch of new facilities in the Cervera industrial park.
